Wine Not?

Once again, I had the need for some wine. We picked up some Italian food from Mi Piace last night and you gotta have wine with pasta so we stopped by Bevs&Mo. Italian is still my favorite so I bought another Chianti. Fattoria Selvapiana Chianti Rufina -denominazione di origine controllata e garantita- Vendemmia 2001. My wife still can't drink so I had to finish it myself again. This time I didn't finish it one sitting. We had to put the boy to sleep, and in doing so, we all passed out. So I finished it up this morning. This may have to be the way I catalog the new wines I drink. About 18 bucks. Enjoy. The thing on top is an anti drip device which I got as a gift when we were in Japan. No more rings on the table.

T-Sub Comp Sketches

These are just a few of a thousand sketches I did before we finally settled on the design that you know and love. Some are pretty funky but it's interesting to see the development process and what parts we decided to keep and throw away.

T-Sub Layout

These 2 sketches are from the genius of Titans BG designer, Hakjoon Kang. If my designs are not going to be made into solid 3D objects, then this is the way I'd want them to be represented! With mad skills!! You may think that there should be another step in between these 2 drawings, but there isn't. This is how it's done. Check out Hak's blog, which I have linked, for more Titans stuff. This layout is from the episode (I'm not good with the names of episodes) where the T-Sub is launched into space for the first time. Thanks again Hak for the drawings.

Titans Vs. Mazinger

This is an old one that was done during the first season of Titans. Everyone had their own thing going and since Mazinger's my thing, I had to incorporate him into the Titans universe. Believe it or not, this drawing was actually the inspiration for our 'giant robot' episode, which turned out to be not so giant, in our Atlas episode.

This is a bottle of 2002 Chianti Classico from Villa Antinori. Fairly inexpensive, good bottle, done up with nolan's watercolor set.

The second one was too big for my scanner....lost a lot of detail around the edges, but who cares. I call these, Ball of Samurai, or BalSam(ic).

Titans Sketches
